Never mind that the Muslims are blocking their streets during prayer time, setting their cars on fire or raping their womens...

That’s the first Renoir I bought as a young girl. (On The Terrace)
I ended up preferring Wyeth in later years, but I’ll never part with my ‘Girl.’ :)

Anyone wish to bet these idiots think Jackson Pollock was a great artist?

What is going to happen to the Louvre as the muslim takeover progresses?

Next thing you know, the League of One-Eared Inhabitants of Gaia will be protesting that Van Gogh was racist or something.

Renoir was a great artist with a quality known as talent, a quality obviously missing from blobs splattered on canvas and called “art” by liberal intellectuals.

This is the left's idea of an artist:

Agree. The universe of art is wide enough to accommodate enjoying and admiring works from as wide an array as Bosch to Renoir to Meissonier. There is so much to admire and no call for narrow minded hatreds and posing.

wants the MFA to take its Renoirs off the walls and replace them with something better. I'll take them off their hands, 20 bucks each.

Renoir is crap. What the world needs is more Rothko.
Yes, I am being sarcastic.

I am a Freeper, and a strong Conservative with A MFA. All you are doing with your name calling is exposing yourself as a person uneducated in art. Pollock broke new ground in formalism and was one of the artists who brought American art the lead from France.
Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so go enjoy cows and a barn painting.

With regard to your put down of Mark Rothko - one question. Do you enjoy sunsets? If so look at your example again and open your mind a bit.

Anyone wish to bet these idiots think Jackson Pollock was a great artist? When it comes to Pollock, the saying comes to mind, "If I can do it, it ain't Art."
