Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has given fans a tantalising first look at Amazon Prime's new motoring show after overseas filming began.
He and co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May left the BBC earlier this year and signed a "very, very, very expensive" deal to make a car-themed programme with the online streaming service.
The 55-year-old outspoken broadcaster had previously insisted "much is already sorted" for the show - after May suggested the stars had got "nowhere", with decisions about content or a name yet to be made.
But Clarkson gave little away as he shared a picture with his 5.6 million Twitter followers of the hosts and crew next to three supercars and two lorries:

Too early.
Need. More. Caffeine.
[Son of Top Gun] = [Son of Top Gear]
Sorry.
I am looking forward to the new show. This trio is GREAT!
The wife and I hope we can get his new show. How do you watch the show on Amazon? Have to subscribe how somwthing?
Their trip from Miami through Ga,Alabama, Mississippi, to New Orleans was one of the funniest things I ve seen on TV.
Must watch alert!!
Jeremy for King!
Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership. Like Netflix, you can get it either via your computer or with a Smart TV or Roku-type device.
The Orangutan has landed!
And he has Captain Slow and the Undocumented American at his side.
Great to hear the trio are back at it.
I always enjoyed James and Richard, but Jeremy had to grow on me.
And grow he did.
I actually came to enjoy and look for his digs against the American auto industry.
Now, how does this Direct TV subscriber get to see the new show on Amazon?
Whose fingers or legs do I break to get my Top Knob (or whatever) fix?
Good news about a great show.
Yes, sort of. You have to have an Amazon Prime account to get the free unlimited video streaming, however even with a Prime membership, for some recently released movies and new TV shows single episodes or whole seasons, there is an additional charge. But content eligible for free unlimited streaming is clearly marked with the Prime logo.
If you do not have a Prime account, you can still buy or rent video content but dont get any free content.
The subscription costs $99 per year but in addition to movie and music streaming (similar to Spotify or Pandora) and some other perks like 1 free Kindle book to borrow per month, you get free 2-day shipping on Prime eligible items and for frequent Amazon purchasers like me, thats the real advantage.
This gives a pretty good overview:

I order enough from Amazon, all year round but especially at Christmas (I do all my Christmas shopping on Amazon) that the free shipping alone more than makes up for the cost of the subscription.
I dont have a Kindle but am considering getting one. I have streamed some movies to my laptop but would need an internet capable TV or Blue Ray or game console or a device like Amazon Fire TV in order to stream to the TV.

I don’t know if it’s actually true or not, but I heard that he punched Pierce Morgan in the face years back. That’s all I had to hear, he could do about anything and I’d still like him after that
Top Gear ping.
If your laptop has video out and the appropriate video in on the TV, you can just connect the two. HDMI works well for this.
“It will be interesting to see if Top Gear with the new hosts draws flies.”
The new host looks too wimpy and looks like an automobile hating greenie. Its a BBC debacle.
I have a MacBook Pro 15" about 5 years old. I have a 5 meter cord that takes the external video output from the Mac and connects to my 32" TV via HDMI. I use a separate audio feed since it does not provide that on the Mac output. I was just watching "BlackList" on Netflix here in my Bedroom office.
Newer Macs (and I suppose other Windoze types) provide direct HDMI, YMMV!
DVI to HDMI
Actually, the new guy, Chris (something or other) was a fairly regular guest on the BBC Top Gear. He’s a wealthy UK Media personality, big time car collector, and a real real car guy. But I won’t watch him either. Cant wait for the original three on Prime.
