Kathleen Romeo, a 16-year-old student at the time, noticed that it was Trump that stopped the fight and yelled, Thats Trump! He is Batman!

Where in the story does it state that the victim Trump helped was a Patriot? Misleading headlines make our side look as bad as the other side IS!

Strange headline. The victim could just as well have been another thug.

Could anyone -- anyone -- imagine Obama doing something like this?

Thought I read somewhere that The Donald’s mother was mugged around that same time frame. Maybe that was fresh on his mind when he encountered the thug.

Here's an
original article dated November 1991.
Nearly a quarter century removed from today's presidential campaign so obviously a spin-free account of what happened.
Everything seems to check out, Trump and then-wife Marla Maples pulled their limousine over so that Trump could break up the mugging. Eyewitnesses, one of them named in this story, corroborated Trump's heroism.
Trump was also on record (back in 1991) as not wanting to make a big deal out of it. Oddly out of character, he did not want to "play the incident up." He seemed surprised that this would even make the news.
