About 5 weeks ago, my mom's dialysis doctor suggested she had 2-3 days left to live. The following day they revised that to 2 weeks. Last night, she seems to have slipped into a coma, but continues to hold on. For about a week now, she has continued to let us know she is ready to go and is looking forward to hearing those words, "Welcome home, My good and faithful servant."
As you can imagine, our family has taken comfort in knowing we will meet again some day, but it has still been quite the ordeal to watch her quick decline. I would sincerely appreciate the thoughts and prayers from my FRiends that we will remain strong through this, and what the docs are saying will likely be a fairly gruesome process, as she is pretty much starving and dehydrating to death. Please pray for her comfort and for strength for our family.
You have my prayers.
Prayers for her peace and yours as she goes to a better eternity.
Prayers up for her and your family....
Prayers for your dear mom and you.
Prayers for you, your family.

Bring in favorite CDs DVDs & read scripture a loud.
Also, have the family think about how she touched their lives... then gather the family & share these memories with her. That is the greatest comfort for a mother & wife
A guitarist friend of mine occasionally works with people in the end stage of life. He plays and sings for them to help them “let go”.
Prayers that her passing is quicker and kinder than you’ve been told by the docs, and that your and your family’s strength holds up through the process.
That is something the Little Sisters of the Poor routinely do.
Also praying that this is understood as a blessing in your time of sorrow. A blessing that I too took comfort in upon the loss of both parents. Losing loved ones is always a painful experience for those who loved & lost them in this earthly existence. But comfort is had knowing they are now in a happier place with other loved ones that had passed before them.
May God bless you and your family.
praying for you.
Praying for your mom and for all of you.
Prayers up!
Prayers for peace and strength.
Prayers up for all.
Lord, heal this mother again and give her another chance to live a full life. THis may be an impossible task, but not for YOU.
Sorry to hear that.
May the Lord bless and comfort you both.
