A cute but not applicable anecdote. Romney had lots of very bad positions with which we disagree. But we have never had anyone before like Obama. Maybe one of the cars in your example should have a massive bomb planted by the greatest threat in the world — radical Islam. The two words Obama will never say. One of the cars may be stuck, but the other will cause massive destruction.
I will grant you that Obama is a larger-caliber pistol to the temple. Obama is a .45, and Romney is a .380.
Both results will be bloody, and there is a tiny chance of surviving a .380.
Beyond that, since my policy is “I cannot agree to disagree”, you will need to convert. :)
But that’s how the plan works, introduce something that is extream and once the people either get use to it or out right oppose it they offer a seemingly less extream alternative that is just as wicked and embrace it whole heartedly.
