I’ve watched “The Walking Dead” from the beginning, and never knew Andrew Lincoln was British until I saw him in an old UK TV series titled “Afterlife.” I knew Lennie James was British because I’d seen him in the first season of the UK tv series “Line of Duty.” The next program I saw him on was “Low Winter Sun” in which he starred alongside Mark Strong.
I remember Andrew Lincoln from the movie Love, Actually. Both are terrific actors, Lennie, especially, the episode where he was alone in their old town, was great acting.
Somebody watches a lot of BBC. Anything good lately?
For some reason it’s easy for British actors/actresses to do a believable Southern accent.
Got a sales call one day from a very British lady. After talking to her for a minute she asked me “From what part of England are you?”
I was kinda confused. Just said “pardon me?”
“I would guess Northern England. Wales?”
Me: “No ma’m. Born and bred Central Alabama redneck.”
Her: “Oh dear!!”. I’m not sure exactly what she meant by that......
I liked Low Winter Sun.
Shame it got cancelled.
If you’re not watching Talking Dead, you’re missing out on so much of the show. Many of the actors have accents in real life.
