I meant that had nothing to do with the cause of 9/11. which was a mistaken statement because obviously something in the future couldn’t have caused something in the past :)

As I recall it, Bush decided to take down Saddam Hussein (a righteous task) when asked if the dictator would give weapons of mass destruction to terrorists.
Of course he would.
And since he had already used them, we knew he had them.
I think Iraq invasion was a disaster but that has nothing to do with 9/11.

I voted for Bush - twice. But what came out of his presidency was a mess plan and simple.
