I’ve said that I would have more respect, much more if he dropped out and thru his support for the guys who wins, even if it’s Trump.

Clearly, his heart is not in this, and he’s taking a beating. WHy ask for more money? Plus, somethings are coming out about his donors and the favors he gave them.

Too late. He’s already missed the filing deadline to be on the ballot in (IIRC) the general election in Georgia, and others are coming up fast. The GOPe set things up to prevent a late entering “momentum candidate” from upsetting their guy. Oops.

Maybe it’s time to meet with his staff and cut some of his family ...

The Bushes play the "Long Con."

I suspect they'll let Trump go and proceed to undermine him behind the scenes.

The plan is for Jeb to come back as the "Savior of the Party," to run against Hillary's second term.

Trump of course is expected to abandon ship since he knows nothing about running for president.

Yep. On one hand, I'm cautiously optimistic that this country's electorate isn't as hopelessly stupid as I had thought. On the other, I fear that Trump is just Mitt Romney with a backbone.

But I think he is smart enough to know his rapid ascension is due to rejecting GOPe politics as usual and, just maybe, he might behave accordingly.

I warmed on him when he went to Sen. Jeff Sessions for immigration advice. The onus needs to be on the illegal alien to prove they will be a benefit to the nation if their petition to stay here is granted, not on enforcement of the law to prove otherwise in order to deport.

Man, if this is true, I have to say I'm surprised.

Not that it has happened, but that it is happening so soon and so quickly.

Are you kidding? I'm surprised that Jeb ever had anyone backing him in the first place.

Of all the stupid answers to the question of "who should be our next President?" Jeb Bush was about the tippy top choice, in my opinion.

What kind of moron thinks the nation wants another Bush in office? We are sick of the name "Bush", and we are especially sick of listening to clueless milquetoast moderates who can't surrender to the Democrats quickly enough.

Again, who ever thought Jeb was worth considering? What kind of nitwits think like this?

Yep. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.

Photoshopped?

Or did Jeb inherit Stanley Dunham's magic arm?

This is the path Mike Huckabee needs. Jeb out and then Trump implodes.

"With Bush sinking, the focus will be on the Clintons and their record, or lack thereof,. . "

We can hope issues will mean something in 2016, but with HRC apparently skating free on Benghazi and e-mails, I envision the Democrats waging a campaign of identity politics. You know, the first uterus as POYUS.

You know, I still cannot believe we nominated McCain.

He was just what was left after an entire series of worse candidates slowly peeled away.

The only candidate in that race which I liked was Fred Thompson. He was a giant among the candidates. The rest were all dwarves, and grumpy ended up with the nomination. Fred just self destructed early because he was late to start and thought people would just hand it to him. Big miscalculation on his part.

But who do you think, of the available candidates, would have been better than McCain?

I don’t think Jeb wants the job. He was running because his family and the “establishment” expected him to run, but he really doesn’t have the fire in the belly to be President.
