Just when I become used to getting up in the pitch dark, they make the sun rise earlier.
One day not long ago my husband was passing by a sundial, and two young women were standing by it, staring first at their watches, and then at the dial. One of them asked, “Why does it say 4 O’Clock, when it’s 5?”
I asked him if he straightened them out. He said no, he’d just let them mull over it.
