Someone on another thread remarked that they got their
materials for molding their own BULLETS from spent metal
from the bullets at firing ranges. (I suppose they wait
until the ranges close for the day before they collect
the metal!)
Many ranges are not that busy, and anyone can call a cease fire to go post targets or whatever. Still, I would think that wouldn’t be worth the effort, but I guess as the price of lead goes up, it starts to make sense.
