Wasn’t it Crosby who fathered Melissa Etheridge’s children, in the name of supporting homosexual rights?

Saw Crosby, Stills & Nash a couple of years ago when they opened for Tom Petty. I’ll just say as far as the harmonies and actual singing, time hasn’t been kind.

The revved up, nearly ear splitting version of ‘Woodstock’ that they opened with was actually the high point. Like most opening bands they didn’t seem to have had a real pre-show sound check. Their small soundboard was mounted below the stage on the side and the sound guy never got it right. The CS&N backing musicians were ok, but when Petty and The Heartbreakers took the stage and they just blew CS&N away.
