We have Indian dancers in the US Military? They need to be represented in the great Military Tatoo Show performed annually in Norfolk, VA.

I just saw this year’s show on PBS, and it was spectacular. It represented all of the US Military plus traditional units from Scotland, Denmark, Finland, North Korea, etc. and offered all kinds of music and dancing. Surely our Indian tribes should have been there. Their next show is April 21st through the 24th in Norfolk at the Scope Arena.

It was called “Of Music and Might” and is well worth watching. Look for it on your local PBS station. I imagine they are playing it at various times across the nation. I recorded mine at 4 AM, Central time.

For those who are unaware, the Military Tatoo is a tradition dating way back where they would send a drum and bugle corops from the fort into town to play a particular piece of music to warn the bars to turn off the taps and to send the soldiers home for the night.

What was I thinking? That should have said SOUTH Korea. Perhaps this performance would be on line at your PBS station. It is worth watching.
