The tricolor is the flag of the French revolutionaries, I refuse to fly it. My FB page has the fleur de lis.
There certainly can be. I remember that, and I remember that it was touching, all these years later.

Or when they fought here on our behalf. Their people run the whole spectrum, from mensch to effete, snotty a-holes, just as ours do. My hospital admission before last, I shared a room with a Parisian (and his wife, who wouldn't leave his side for a minute and slept in his guest chair). They were wonderful company.
I don't mock the French and I remember Freepers who were French taking a beating here for... IDK, being from France.

Barring acts that cannot be discussed, the US military has a commander in chief who will not do what needs to be done, and the CinC will be in power until early 2017.
My GF wears the Fleur de lis every day. She’s from Louisiana and she’s a huge Saints fan but it’s mostly because she refuses to turn on the heat in her place and all her warm stuff has that on it. :-) When we met, she was relieved that I was a Conservative though. She’s on our side.
