OLED screens deliver better picture quality, consume less electricity and promise wider profit margins than LCDs. But many rivals including leader Samsung Electronics Co Ltd have said production was still too costly for the mass market.
In an indication of rapid OLED development, LG Electronics said production improvements allowed it to cut prices of six models in the world's biggest TV market by as much as 45 percent from last month, without crimping margins. “LG Elec”...
Ha-ha. I have owned two appliances manufactured by LG. Both failed prematurely.
I hope LG fails.
I have a LG G3 mobile - great phone and still has the best screen resolution including the homo apples.
LG makes superb products!
It’s got a great picture, but it gives you diarrhea.
Oh, that might be olestra.
OLED displays eat batteries. I have one on a small music player but I avoided any cell phones with OLED.
For AC powered monitors they are great though.
LG makes superb products!

Diswasher: The used substandard materials in their motors and pieces broke off and fell into the running machine. A quick search for the error code showed it was not uncommon. The unit lasted warranty plus one month.
DVR: Defective firmware that shut the units off during recording OTA programming. Multiple calls to find out the problem was well known (see Amazon reviews) but LG hadn’t bothered to put it in the helpdesk database. The Multiple calls were necessary to get someone who knew what the problem was. Unit flat out failed after the warranty expired.
LG would have to pay me to use their crap.
