Gee. Even more liberal bias isn't playing in Peoria. Who knew?

Kimmel stays pretty much non-political. That’s why I like his show.

Just when you wondered if they could find someone less funny than Letterman to take that time slot...Poof...it’s a smartass liberal tool without a sense of humor. Colbert may not see the summer rerun seasons next year.

So Letterman’s replacement is alienating viewers by being too liberal?

Colbert wasn’t funny when he was on the “Comedy Channel.” CBS is getting what they deserve.

Colbert lacks 'Class', and everything is so politically slanted , and he lacks the Iowa 'down-home country' feeling
The only redeaming value of the show is the lists of guests, and the house band.
With Colbert , you cant make silk out of a pigs ear .

How far we have fallen from the days when TV was innocuous entertainment designed to sell the hamburgers and the soap!

Conan hates whites and Christians too.

Kimmel is he least offensive.

...the host is thereby saying goodbye to half his potential audience, which can't be a sound business model.

Sounds like Letterman is still the host.

Colbert has only one routine: playing the role of a silly conservative. He can occasionally be quite funny in that role, but that's all he's got.

Even when Colbert is trying to be “serious”, that persona slips through. He's got nothing more, just that one routine. He's a classic example of a one-trick pony.

I’m pretty sure dead air would bring better ratings for CBS than Stevie. Most of their audience still thinks Letterman is in that time slot.

I'll throw in my two cents...

I've started to like the Tonight Show will Jimmy Fallon.
He reminds me of Johnny Carson, rather low key, sometimes subtle humor, intelligent. Of course, the target demographic is much younger than me, but I'd say give him a try.

And he's in New York, he and Trump seem to get along just fine.

Colbert’s audience skews younger than Kimmel or Fallon, which is what cbs was looking for.

The problem is that fewer young adults watch those late night talk shows.

If ratings mattered to liberals, they’d have shut down CNN and MSNBC long ago.

Happy for the schmuck that he loses out, playing only to his sycophants.
