Wow! How funny! I, too, wish the battery life on the ‘high’ setting was a bit longer, but it’s sufficient. I buy the AAA batteries in bulk, so they don’t cost too much that way. I’ve had to replace the elastic, but that’s par for the course no matter what brand. I also wish they offered it in all black, but I think Lenser has the ‘athletic’ group as its target clientele since there’s so much other competition for military/LE.
