As to “damages “ hell this whole inident turned him into a superstar and he got invited to meet the first Muslim president. If not for this little inident he would be just another snot-nosed nerdy teenager who noody would wver pay attention to.
If putting a clock’s guts inside a ‘pencil box’ is worth $15,000,000.00, how much is harassing a student for chewing a pop-tart into a shape that may resemble a non-working gun worth?
It’s hard to say if slimeball lawyers or Islamic supremacists are the greater threat to mankind.
the only difference between some lawyers and thieves is the method used to steal from you. Lawyers take a lot more tho.
Id sue for 25 mill.... If I were the pop tart kid’s dad!
yes, seriously.
some jury might get real....
This is beyond ludicrous.
Hoax boy should be prosecuted for fraud. He didn’t build or invent a thing, as he repeatedly claimed, he repackaged an existing commercially manufactured clock.
Everything about this is suspicious. Why did he bring it to school in the first place? There was no science project, fair or anything of the sort. Why did it look like it could be a potential bomb? Why decide to put it in that type case?
Hoax all the way and everybody and his dog was taken in by it. He should be prosecuted for fraud, which is what he did by claiming he built or invented it.
Now he’s living in Qatar, and trying to extort money from the US taxpayers.
What is the most ridiculous though, is that this will probably actually end up in a courtroom...
