A typical Thanksgiving for us is multi-cultural. Black, white, Jew, Arab, rich, poor, Catholic, Protestant. Everyone is an American, and has a great time.

Mom won't be with us this year. 8^( May she rest in peace.

I’m sorry about your mom. Thanksgiving is mom to me too and my parents are across the country from me, moved there by a sibling, so I can’t even enjoy their presence such as it is. We’ve had other family losses too this year which I’m sure a lot of FReepers have had.

But I damn sure make the food tasty.
