Do not fly your planes over a NATO country, after you have been repeatedly to not do so....or they will shoot you down......that’s the problem with not joining the civilized nations of the world in keeping the peace....

Exactly.

Now Russia will be providng fighter escort for their bombers. Their Su-30sm is known to be able to beat our F-15 and possibly our F-22.

From an interview of a Nellis AFB Red Flag Aggressor pilot.

It is acknowledged in aviation circles the Flanker is a class above the F-15. In Fornof’s own words a well-flown F-15 can trouble an F-22; so a properly flown Flanker can potentially kill a Raptor in a knife fight.

Was thinking about that also, since Iran is Shia and Turkey is Sunmi. You are so right, this is not some kinda Oopsie situation, which Obama and Kerry would be inclined to talk through.

Putin is molded after “Otto von Bismarck”, the Prussian leader that unified Germany based on a policy of “iron and blood.” Meaning he knew that only war or aggressiveness would solve some things and was not hesitant to use either.

Russia has denied it violated Turkish airspace and offered technical evidence. http://sputniknews.com/military/20151124/1030695406/mod-su-24-flight-path.html

But it’s ok for NATO countries like Turkey, US, France to violate Turkey airspace everyday? Which they are doing since their operations are authorized neither by the Syrian government nor the UNSC.

And don’t forget NATO countries illegal invasion of Iraq and illegal bombing of Serbia and Libya. NATO = civilized? I think not!

If you drill down to the actual everyday society of many “civilized” nations, Russia probably is about as good as anybody.

Nobody disputes that Dems steals will steal elections if they can, nobody disputes Obama is lawless when it comes to adhering to and defending the constitution, nobody denies the war on the police and the associated BLM movement has its roots in the Obama administration.

All over the world, governments are moving down the path of greater control over its citizens, ignoring its citizens wishes, confiscating wealth. Eventually if not stopped it ends up in tyranny.

In the story of Robin Hood, even the animals in all the land belonged to the king and if you killed something to eat, you were a criminal.

Kinda sounds like today’s EPA and environmentalists wish list

Nonsense. Links please.

We ripped Kosovo from Serbia and it is now the heart of muslim radicalism in Europe; likewise Al Qaeda is running riot in North Africa after Gaddafi’s ouster.

Dumb question...if it's O.K. with Turkey, what the hell do we care???/ Russia is no friend of anyone by their own choice...we are...If a Canadian plane flies into the U.S., we don't get upset....if a Russian plane does so without authorization, we might just blow it up.....

Turkey should have lodged a diplomatic protest ... NOT shot down a USSR combat fighter aircraft ... and killed the two-man crew ... does the 2016 election get suspended over a US-USSR minor war ?

I agree...the USSR does not exist...it is Russia but they were warned, more than once.....they need to be aware that they are not invulnerable and that there are rules which even they must follow. The fate of the two pilots is very upsetting and should not have happened and their government should be held accountable for them (they won't be).

I don’t think we would just blow up a Russian plane traversing our air space, but would warn and escort from the area.

Russia, Turkey, and NATO are supposed to be on the same side, though it looks like Turkey and NATO are stealthily backing ISIL. Turkey cannot constantly violate Syrian and Greek air space but shoot down a Russian plane that at most traveled over its territory for a few seconds. Turkey is not at war with Russia.
