Not an original 9/11 thread, but close. Look at reply #138 for a (second-hand) account of celebrations in Brooklyn on 9/11. I recall hearing and reading about Muslims in US celebrating on that day, but media was fixated on finding supposed anti-Muslim "retaliation."

I want to thank everyone for their replies. I was gone and making the annual Heart Attack Stuffing for the group that is coming up for T-Day. I will bookmark this thread so I can go through all the replies.

It is more in likely that the posts regarding Muslims celebrating might occur in the days right after 9-11 as the events of that day begin to sink in. All the side issue begin to come into focus after dealing with the horrendous attack.
