Paterson is not JERSEY City.

Trump is a shameless fraud. Whatever the apocryphal story is, the fact is there were not thousands celebrating in JC on 9/11.

His claim is an insult to Jersey City and to the muslims that live there. He is slandering my neighbors and my City, people I know and grew up with.

I remember everything about that day and would have remembered if what he said occurred had happened. Until this week I never heard that such a thing occurred in JC.

He is shamelessly using lies about a national tragedy that hits too close to home for me to further his political career. That is unforgivable.

His comments prove he does not have the moral wherewithal we need in a President.

“Paterson is not JERSEY City.”

So what? Carmine Sabia says she was in Paterson, New Jersey, and she witnessed the Muslims celebrating the destruction of the World Trade Center. Serge F. Kovaleski and Fredrick Kunkle of The Washington Times reported they witnessed such muslim celebrations ongoing in Jersey City.

“In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners’ plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.”

Many people here on FreeRepublic recall seeing video and Internet coverage of Muslims in New Jersey and other regions of the United States celebrating the 9/11 attacks.

I too recall seeing video and Internet coverage of Muslims in New Jersey and other regions of the United States celebrating the 9/11 attacks. I remember the news coverage because I was discussing that coverage with other people at the time, so it left a distinct memory of that coverage.

“Trump is a shameless fraud. Whatever the apocryphal story is, the fact is there were not thousands celebrating in JC on 9/11.”

Trump never said there were “thousands celebrating in JC on 9/11” as you and the MSM false claim. Trump did not use a number such as “thousands” when discussing it with Stephanapoulos. What Trump did say in the Columbus speech was the news talked about the Muslims being seen having tailgate parties and cheering as they watched the destruction of the World Trade Center, and then he noted the basic truth that tailgate parties like those at Ohio State football games involve thousands of people, so the news report obviously did not mean only two people when the Washington Post used the tailgate description in their news report. The MSM then took Trumps words and deliberately twisted them to completely misrepresent what Trump actually said in order to damage his credibility and campaign.

“His claim is an insult to Jersey City and to the muslims that live there. He is slandering my neighbors and my City, people I know and grew up with.”

You owe Trump a huge apology, because it was the Washington Post who reported the Muslim tailgate parties occurring in Jersey City, which Trump correctly noted having seen.

“I remember everything about that day and would have remembered if what he said occurred had happened. Until this week I never heard that such a thing occurred in JC.”

The Washington Post reported directly witnessing the Muslim tailgate parties celebrating in Jersey City, and many of us on FreeRepublic recall seeing the news reports as well. Are you really going to tell us we’re liars and you could not haeve failed to see all such news reports and could not have failed to witness those celebrations yourself?

“He is shamelessly using lies about a national tragedy that hits too close to home for me to further his political career. That is unforgivable.”

That is exactly the frame of mind the MSM is trying to get you to believe with their obvious lies about no such evidence existing. You sure have fallen for it.

“His comments prove he does not have the moral wherewithal we need in a President.”

Any of the other candidates would have withered and equivocated under such a barrage of lies. Not Trump, which is winning deep respect even from voters who do not necessarily like the man, some of his politics, or his bragging.
