The “Nazi” stuff was specious at best as the actual show used swastikas, while the subway ad used none. The Japanese stuff was completely fictitious.
I just finished watching the series on Amazon prime... Well worth the time. There are eight shows..... Don’t miss it!

Amazon would have really freaked out these snowflakes (my new favorite term) if they had used the image of the American flag with the canton (union) replaced by the swastika as it appears in the opening for the series. Kudos to Amazon for producing this series. It’s in the best tradition of good sic-fi; it makes you think.
I’d better watch the series, before the leftists, who are trying to effectively make what happens in the series happen here, get it banned.
Something that REALLY hit me hard was during the pilot, where one of the characters, a truck driver, had a flat tire, and a police officer pulls over to help him, and even shares his lunch with the driver. A really nice guy. The driver notices some ash coming down, and asks the cop, who non-chalantly says, oh, that’s the hospital. Nazi elimination of the weak, and the people just go along with it.
