In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of 'Word for the Day'.
Verb
2. To make a shrill, discordant sound.
3. To have a noisy argument.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

It is raining off and on here-a really dreary day-I’m just going to walk up the road to eat with a neighbor a bit later-she is single and her kids live pretty far away...
Why is it that we never hear
The laments and caterwauling
From liberals unless the deed
Is a thing they find appalling?
Any other time they will ignore
Every kind of offense and crime-
If it isn’t fit for their agenda
They just won’t spare the time
As Illegals come over the border
And the “refugees” who are fake
Bring jihad here-but liberals say
What difference does that make?
