we’re reduced to a barky chihuahua.

that likes to be humped by cats.

Thought I would finish my thoughts on this one.

Obama has degraded not only the living but has condemned the unborn to second class Citizens of the World.

The next President needs to scrub our history books of this maniac and his deeds. Just the speaking of his name should be enough to land a person a stint in prison.

You’re right. No one even had half a set since Reagan. Eunuchs, cowards, and now the effeminate pajama boy.

They are actually Obama lovers and in all probably, Obama voters. If you check back, you will notice that neither they nor the main stream media criticized Putin until Obama did. And Obama did not start criticizing him until he stopped the homosexuals from adopting male Russian infant children and then sexually abusing them and passing them around among their friends and at the same time, cracked down on homosexual activity inside Russia. Then Obama verbally attacked Putin and on cue, his disciples, admirers, and voters along with the main stream media chimed in.

Turkmen are ethnically related to the Turks and live in both Syria and Iraq in scattered locations.

Not only that ...

after Putin has got done

they will be well scattered all over.

Yes, there should be a disclaimer attached concerning Putin. One that says he vastly supports Iran (a well-known extremely islamic driven state who has in its constitution the destruction of Israel). Iran in turn supports Hezbollah, one of the worst islamic terrorist groups known to date.

Lets not also forget that Putin has authorized the construction of a HUGE Mosque in the middle of Moscow, it’s the biggest mosque ever constructed in the European region!

So, Putin make war against sunni terrorists, thats good and we should help him with that. But, the truth is that he supports the shia terrorists...

Also, how come Putin barely bombs Isis? He puts all his efforts on bombing other “softer” terrorist groups. Maybe Isis are the “useful idiots” for Assad and Putin?

Why do ya think we went there, and stayed there in the first place? It sure isn't what you described. Must be something else.

It couldn't have anything to do with the opium crop and the resurgence of heroin as a street drug....

Naaaaaah. 'Murkins learned 'nuff 'bout heroin in the '60s, right?

I think that started with thei idea of "daylight precision bombing". I'm sure our guys did their very best to hit military targets, but like the Islamists, the Nazis had their targets and neighborhoods up against each other.

Then, though, we had the resolve to do what was necessary, and the clarity to recognize that the factory worker was as much a part of the war effort as the fighter pilot.

Yes, there should be a disclaimer attached

How about I don't but say I did?

You should probably start a thread about how much worse Putin is as opposed to Obama.

War is supposed to be utter mayhem.

You kill them, their neighbours, their wives, their children, their goats and chickens and sheep and cows and ducks and crops and keep killing them until they BEG for mercy.

Then you keep killing them until YOU decide they might understand your message.

Then you scale back a bit, and stop killing them until they have finished paying for the destruction they brought upon themselves.

Then you ignore them.

They want to live like 7th century savages, that’s their choice. They have to understand that we most emphatically DO NOT want to live in squalor.

I talked with a Russian directional driller trainee on a drilling location once, partly because I like to pick brains and see what people from all over think of the US, and to learn a little about their take on their own governments. (He didn't last long on our location: the Company Hand's ancestors were Ukranian).

But the fascinating part of our conversation was when I asked him what he thought of Josef Stalin. He loved him, revered the man much as you or I might think of Benjamin Franklin or George Washington or Thomas Jefferson.

I asked "Why?", and he replied that 'Stalin was strong man, defeated Hitler and held the Rodina together.'

There you have it, the Russians, (oddly enough like many of the governments of the Middle East) placed high value on the ruthless strong man who would do what was necessary to eliminate the enemies of the State, who could unite the various tribes or other elements under one banner by either seduction or force and would use either to maintain that power.

As I read down this thread, this is the sort of person the Founders warned us about, and in some ways the very trip Obama is trying to pull here by stepping on whatever (like the Constitution and Rule of Law) or whoever gets in his way (on Americans), only Obama doesn't understand Americans because he was not raised as one.

We get incredibly ticked off when people start forcing us to do things, even things we might do on our own without coercion, because we resent coercion....At least I think we still do.

For Russia, for this situation, we are somewhat mesmerized by someone who would ruthlessly attack our enemies, the enemies of Western Civilization, while the resident at 1600 PA Ave waffles and pisses around and sides with those of his Muslim Faith.

Once again, though, in their desire to see America strong, people are forgetting that the blade that cuts outward against our enemies could cut on the back swing just as well.

This happened in a Germany, unemployed and frustrated with the impotence of the Wiemar Republic and a lousy economy, a situation which seems uncannily familiar.

Politically, give your best friend no more power than you would give your worst enemies. The tide inevitably changes, and what you grant to use against others may come back at you in other hands.

Yes, I am glad Putin is attacking ISIS with little apparent reservation. I only pray we have the good sense to either get the hell out of the way or cooperate/coordinate with them and avoid mutual hostilities.

The Pre Gorbechov Russia would have taken care of ISIS in 10 hours. After losing that civilian airliner they would have made islum glow. Putin may get assassinated for being weak against the muslum terrorists.

Perhaps we've gotten too damned civilized and introspect in this country?

Only if you believe some of the dreck dribbling out of the major Universities and the Professional victimhood hawkers and handwringers in the Government.

Blue collar America sees a lot of that crap for what it is.

The Russians should wait until all the “rescue operations” are taking place, to hit them again - thus killing all their emergency personnel, etc ... Wipe them all out - down to the last soul - and I would be quite satisfied to see Turkey nuked into oblivion.

The more Muslims snuffed, the better life shall be for the rest of humanity. Islam is an evil that needs to be wiped off the face of the Earth - along with all those who practice the wretched cult.

I don’t lose time even mentioning Obama anymore. I will only support a republican presidential candidate who will say that Iranian leadership is indeed part of the “Axis of Evil” - as George Walker Bush in all common sense once said.

Hi mkjessup,

Well thanks, all is fine. Free Republic is one of the last places where conservatives are still able to express themselves.
Maybe I’m overly conservative since I tend to see the world like Churchill would have done. Thats why I’m not quite yet a russia-fan.
But yes, we must work with Putin to continue the war against Islamic Fascism. However, confronting the sunni terror is not enough, the shia terror will be just as dangerous in the very near future, when Iran get’s the nuclear capability.
