I expect that once the “mainstream” media gets over their disappointment that this attack wasn’t committed by a group of white Tea Party members, they will begin to spin this as a sympathetic Islamic story by highlighting the perp’s poor father, who after all is just a “nice guy” and a Muslim himself and therefore “as much a victim of this ‘crime’ as anyone else.” They will be desperate to turn this on its head and somehow pervert it into a positive story about Islam.
They will call it workplace violence because they’re saying the guy worked there, was acting weird and left early, then came back with friends.
Fortunately the vast majority of America knows better.
I could totally see that being part of the spin.
My guess is that the press will now be on the hunt for evidence of “Islamophobia” on the part of the victims.
