I got over my modesty when I joined the Marine Corps. Eighty Marines per squad bay - forty on each side with a common bathroom in the middle.
Parris Island got me over that.
We failed a rifle inspection one time so they put
all 90 of us in the shower with the hot water turned on
and threw in bottles of ammonia just to make it interesting.
It was Ok though cause we still had ponchos on in August
then we had to do exercises but we were so packed in we
could hardly move. That was the worst day, others came
close but that one lives in my bad dreams after 50 years.
