Nicholas Thalasinos and his wife are self-described ‘Messianic Jews’, but they do not seem to have actually been Jewish. That’s not unusual for ‘Messianic Jews’. Of course, the question is whether the jihadis thought he was a Jew.
Whatever...
Not Jewish. Greek Orthodox mixed up in a cult.
Yeah, I don’t think so. From my younger days, many, many guys in the mid-West grew beards during deer season. Ryan’s from Wisconsin and he’s always claimed to be an avid deer hunter. I think that’s what the beard is about. I’m not crazy about the guy as a politician, but that’s just my $.02.
You’re right. I don’t expect it, but I also think it’s instructive to point out the double standard.

Could you list those events? There’s a pattern to them...
Maybe they’re also inadvertently admitting the violent nature of the cult known as Islam....
that Muslims are easily provoked, and arguing with a Muslim will set him/her off to kill innocents.

Another interesting piece of info! Can you post some links?
and you forgot....so are the ‘joooooz’
unfortunately yes
They hate Christians and have been trying for decades to belittle and marginalize them
He’s Eddie Munster with a beard. Looks like a fool.
“Nicholas Thalasinos and his wife are self-described âMessianic Jewsâ, but they do not seem to have actually been Jewish. Thatâs not unusual for âMessianic Jewsâ. Of course, the question is whether the jihadis thought he was a Jew.”
No he doesn’t self describe as a Messianic Jew . He stated on his Facebook page that he is not Jewish before they took it down . He self describes as a born again Christian and that is exactly what his wife said about him too. They happen to attend a Messianic Congregation
I’m sure you are correct, but no less than the NYT said otherwise:
http://www.nytimes.com/live/san-bernardino-shooting/victim-was-gunmans-co-worker/
...Ms. Thalasinos said she and her husband were devout Messianic Jews, members of a religious group that incorporates elements of Judaism and Christianity. She said Mr. Thalasinos had worn traditional Jewish tassels, called tzitzit, which draped braided tassels over his pants...
He is not a Greek Orthodox , he is a born again Evangelical Christian . How many members of the Greek Orthodox church do you know who support Israel instead of siding with the fake palestinians ? Not many because Greek Orthodox are Catholics who don’t believe the bible when it comes to the promises given to Jacob’s children .
Just because someone is ethnically Greek doesn’t mean they are Greek Orthodox.
His wife specifically said he became a born again 2 years ago.
...Thalasinos was active in the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in North Wildwood while living in New Jersey...
“...and you forgot...so are the ‘jooooz’...”
Correction:
The REAL problem is the “Jooooz”, and those bible-thumping, knuckle-dragging, gun-loving, Christian morons....
correction done. :-)
IMHO
I have two Mezuzahs in my house and my key chain has a Star of David on it (friends bring me back stuff from Israel). So I kind of have to giggle . Oh and my church flies an Israeli flag too.
She might be ethnically Jewish . I heard one of her interviews and she did not call herself a Messianic Jew , she said they attended a Messianic Congregation .
A guy that wears tzitis and a kippah is going to be presumed to be Jewish, which is what would be important to a jihadi.
It isn’t about what he was wearing .
It is about his stand on the land .
