There is something seriously wrong with a 3 year old who wants to self-mutilate. What did this woman ingest or inhale while pregnant?
I'd bet he likes electric cars and organic vegetables too.
Why would such a thought even occur to a three year old?

I don't believe this for a second, but on the off chance it's true, it most likely happened because this poor boy got tired of hearing his mother say she wished she had a daughter instead of a son.
I do not believe the self-mutilation story. Total BS. It is a cover story for this newest, most modern, shiningly PC form of CHILD ABUSE.

If a 3 year old tells you they want to cut off a body part for any freakin reason you take them to a doctor. The have mental problems.

you are wrong about who had the mental problem it was the mom that has the mental problem. I have a sibling that is transgendered and theses issue’s don’t come up till they hit puberty and sexuality starts having meaning for them. at three years old the child has no clue about his gender and some little boys like to play dress up and other things that are usually done by girls more and some girls like to do things that boys like to do. the reality is that this mom forced a decision on a child that should only be made when they are an adult and in my mind is indicative of that person being Mentally ill.

The problem’s not that the three year old made this remark, but that the mother took this as a trigger to do her utmost to screw up the child for life. This woman is a very disturbed and dangerous person who ought to be prosecuted for felony child abuse.
