President Barack Obama's spokesman Josh Not-Earnest said on Thursday that the White House is flabbergasted by the record number of Americans seeking to buy guns in recent weeks.
"The more that we see this kind of violence on our streets, the more people go out and buy guns," he said. "That is both ironic and tragic."
Every person with just a basic degree of common sense knows why it's happening -- Americans no longer feel safe and believe the Obama administration will try to outlaw gun sales when it can -- but sadly, no such people are part of this horrendous administration. As Earnest said when asked to explain the record sales numbers: "I don't know. I really don't know."
He added:
"In some cases these are individuals who believe that they need to buy a gun so that they can better protect themselves. In some cases because it’s Black Friday, they probably are going and purchasing a gift for a friend or a loved one who is a gun enthusiast. I’m just pointing out that there are already an astonishing number of guns on the streets of America and far too many innocent Americans who are being killed by them."
In contrast to Not-Earnest, Americans also see the violence -- especially terrorist attacks like the one in San Bernardino last week -- and realize that if they don't protect themselves, nobody's going to do it. That's logical to every person with at least some basic degree of common sense, but not to Not-Earnest...

That is profoundly true. I’ve worked around lots of liberals for many years and was constantly amazed at how easily they ignore reality. Its also a reason why you simply cannot reason with them. They never step outside their ideological fantasy world.
I don’t think it’s insanity. I think it’s by design. Getting guns out of the hands of private citizens has been something they’ve been going after for decades and they won’t stop anytime soon. If anything, the Left is very persistent.

Compare the number of gun related death to all other forms and see what the numbers show.
And I won’t even bring up abortion as the number one killer of minorities.
They won’t admit the obvious - what they can’t spin they act dumbfounded about.
Then they march forward to trick low info voters by using words like “common sense” gun control laws when there is nothing common sense about them.
People have come to realize that terrorists have the upper hand in an unarmed populous. And that’s what that constitutional right is all about. We are the true protectors of our family and nation.
They don’t understand that we’re buying lots of guns and ammunition so that when the government comes to ‘help’ us, we can politely refuse.
Muzzies and yutes. And Obamas.

I would agree that the typical liberal isn’t very smart and will follow the Leftist hive mind. It’s those liberals in positions of influence that you have to be very wary of. They have nefarious intentions.
The latest DNC memo has advised the radical commie libs to spew the vomit that these skyrocketing gun sales are a sign of Americans being “frightened”. I got news for you girlymen. Americans are a long way from being “frightened”. We’re pissed. Nobody is going to take our freedom.
Americans now realize that they are dead last on the list with this regime. They now understand that everything this regime does, gives the benefit of the doubt or first consideration to everyone ahead of Americans. Be it foreigners in every state dept. negotiation, muslims, muslim terrorists, illegal aliens, black thugs killing cops and so forth. Americans and America are $hit to them.
