Uninstall and then hide the update for KB3035583
I had to do that to stop the Windows 10 nagging on my Win 7 machine.
Did the exact same thing and worked well. I read later that Windows may override this and force the popup to show up again. Hasn’t happened yet, but keeping an eye out for it.
I hid KB3035583 a few months ago, and found another KB3035583 in the queue today. Both are now hidden. They’re different sized and point to the same MS Support link. Weird.
How do you hide KB3035583?

Yup. Worked for me.
Now uninstall the updates listed below because they are doing Windows 10 'like' spying on you too.
