Actually, I think he makes an excellent point. Theo doesn't compare the character of the two men, which appears to be a nuance lost to the posters attacking theo. Theo is simply illustrating that having a vast amount of wealth and claiming to be unbeholden to anyone does not make you pure as the driven snow.
Of course, I don't expect that to be a popular sentiment with the Trumpbots.
BTW, if indeed Trump is unbeholden to anyone, why would he listen to We The People if he's elected?
