Here’s another “people of Wal-Mart” story … with a twist. A Florida woman driving a motorized shopping cart around a local Wal-Mart made herself at home while in the store, eating and drinking to her heart’s desire. Josseleen Elida Lopez, 20, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office after she consumed $32.36 worth of food and wine, according to WFLA-TV.

Included among her dining choices were cinnamon rolls, mini muffins, sushi, a rotisserie chicken with sauce and two bottles of S. Home wine.

A loss prevention employee took the hungry shoplifter into custody after seeing her helping herself while riding around the store.

Deputies found two empty syringes on Lopez, one in her purse and one in her backpack, WFLA-TV reported. She admitted to the officers that she had used the syringes to inject crystal meth earlier.

Lopez told deputies that she was homeless and said she ate the food because she was hungry, but didn’t want to bring it outside of the store.

She faces shoplifting and drug paraphernalia charges

[[The people that use these carts are either morbidly obese or gibsmedats who don’t want to walk around. And they act like they own the place too. ]]

This really ticks me off when I take a older friend from church shopping. She is in her late 70’s and has a bad knee which makes it painful for her to walk around a large store with just her walker.

Go to Publix and they have 4 of these carts , there is always at least two or three available. If kids get on these carts someone tells them to get off them.

Go to Walmart and they have tons yet you have to sit and wait for them and the people getting off them have no problems walking around. Rude people , rude cashiers , rude managers , needless to say I rarely go there.

If she’s on meth she hasn’t been on it for very long.

I had a guy come to my automotive counter to return a battery that he said he bought a week before. I told him he had three problems: One, the battery was at least 4 years old; Two, You have no record of buying it here, And last, It was a Duralast battery that wasn't sold at Walmart.

Here in Maine, I have the opposite experience.

The customers are not rude, the cashiers are not rude either (one cashier calls me ‘honey’), and when the manager walks past me while I’m shopping he smiles and says ‘hello.’

The people at the WalMart pharmacy are friendly, smile and say hello, and they know my name without me telling them.

Then you have one of the very few WM managers that actually care about customer service and their employees. I was told to absolutely be open from 7am to 8pm seven days a week with at least two techs in the shop at all times. There was also absolutely no overtime. I was also routinely covering Hardware, Sporting goods and Pets. AND he still wanted me to cut labor costs while reducing wait times.

If a store has a good manager , the store will be nicely kept and rude employees rooted out.

If a store has a lazy manager the opposite will be true.

The Walmart nearest me is really obnoxious (it is not in my town ) but I have been in others that were much nicer.

So she has enough money to buy drugs, which she can live without, but not food, which she cannot live without. And she is too lazy to walk through the store.

She admitted to the officers that she had used the syringes to inject crystal meth earlier.

I have never heard of injecting crystal meth before.

It has been my understanding that crystal meth was smoked and thus the typical bad teeth of the habitual user.

Seems to me that if meth does that sort of damage to teeth it would really do a number on veins.

"Another stuffed a pressurized can of biscuit dough in a private place, whereupon it exploded, causing her to panic.

That's a reasonable reaction to having the poppin' fresh dough boy pop out unexpectedly in your bidness, I suppose. "

I've always wondered about yeast infections.
