I challenge everyone at Free Republic to take the following New Year goal: read the entire bible through by the end of the year. It is not that difficult. There are a lot of programs available on line, but for me I will simply read it through chronologically. I have a KJV Bible with commentary by a person known to all on this forum. Everything considered, it has over one thousand pages so my goal can be met by reading a simple 4.2 pages a day, including commentary on every page. Best to everyone in this New Year.

How about also reading the Koran, Torah, and Baltimore catechism every day also?
Nice to see you Fungi. No hard feelings I hope. I think I will take you up on this. I do have a copy of the bible one day at a time where if you read a section each day by the end of the year you will have read it all. I guess I need to catch up. It’s been fun..
