Anyone who is disappointed in the gender of their child isn't fit to be a parent. Each gender has their own joys as well as challenges.

We were blessed with only girls. My only daughter with two or more grandchildren has only boys.

We love them all.

Exactly. This damn narcissistic generation sees everything revolving around themselves. Worry less about what you want and worry more about what God wants. Every child is a blessing. My only prayer while my wife and I were having our children is that they be healthy.

I have two girls and a boy. I wouldn’t trade any of them for anything.

I was disappointed that my third child was a boy. It took a month for me to get over it and rejoice in him being a boy. I got over it. No harm.

OTOH, it CAN do lasting harm if a parent remains disappointed in a child’s sex at the age where the child is aware of it.
