Not suprising I hear prophet Mommand was "Cat person"

Islamic literature indicates Muhammed was a cat person.

On of the favorite stories was when a call to prayer came Muhammed had his favorite cat , Mueza asleep on his sleeve.
Rather than bother his cat Muhammed cut off the sleeve and left the cat to continue sleeping. -tom

When I was teaching at a university in Istanbul, the campus was overrun with cats. The kids fed the cats like American students feed the campus dogs.

The Catholic church I attended had a flock of cats in the courtyard. I'd even see them sleeping on top of parked cars. Never saw any inside the church, though.

Just reading about the feral/stray cat population in the US. Estimates are between 50 and 70 million. I like cats and all, but the world is overrun with them.
