I can see how she might believe it will work again-maybe Bill thinks so too-but surely she has advisors, and they must know better-I wonder if she even listens to them...
That is a cool fact that they missed though - thanks for pointing that out!
If they really get 2 feet of snow there may be a lot of people without power! Yikes -
I was watching a video from a popular radio show in Alabama where they sent a guy pretending to be a Bernie supporter to interview the folks. Of course most couldn’t tell you a single thing about him other than “free stuff” - but what was astounding was the number of people at his rally! OMG - he truly has the idiots on his side. The guy even asked a man who was wearing a suit, looking at least semi-professional if he agreed with paying 90% in taxes and he said yes.
Good luck. Storm has remained well north of TX, right?
We’ve just got rain here.
invoices for work-in-progress, or the final job?
I’m just happy we don’t have a hoagie sale this week. It’s next Saturday.
The snow and frigid cold is not predicted for Texas-it is just normal Winter here.
Those were final invoices on little jobs-two for concrete patios and one for a small pole barn-one of the concrete customers paid me right there-made the concrete contractor very happy...
Just asked my Marine and he said he thought it was wrong, but just put it out of his mind.
I’m always amazed at the stupidity of so many people-how can any sentient being not know that “free stuff” has to be paid for with real cash paid for real work to someone as a source of income that can be taxed-the only stuff that produces by itself is what grows in the ground-and even that involves seeds, dirt and water...
What is even scarier, is that so many of Bernie’s supporters are young, and the next generation will add more socialist voters to the rolls.
Same with my husband's graduation and my own. Graduation ceremonies are interminable and mostly boring.
At one daughter's graduation from Middle School our first year in TX, I was very annoyed because everyone was leaving before all the graduates got through the line. The ceremony was outdoors. We were on bleachers and there was a lightning storm going on. I guess God left out the common sense gene when he created me because it took me a little while to realize that we were in a very dangerous location, sitting on the top row of the bleachers! I finally gathered my children and headed for the car when the rain started to fall. Lightning was a new phenomenon for this California gal. LOL In April we'll be attending the Eagle Court of Honor for one of our grandsons. I might tear up over that because I used to work for the Boy Scouts at one time, but I doubt it. Neither of my own sons made it that far. That same kid is on the fast track for an appointment to one of the military academies this June. If he gets it, I'll really have something to tear up about. He already has 4 recommendations to 2 different academies. His appointment with Sen. Lindsey Graham is this coming Sat. From then on, it's up to the academies as to whether they think he's up to their standards. He has recommendations from Sen. Tim Scott and Rep. Joe (You lie!) Wilson, as well as 2 retired military officers. Graduation marks a new beginning and not something to cry about.
A++++ What idiots.
Are you a teacher? LOL A++
A++++ Young folks won’t fall for the VRWC thing, as they didn’t live there Monica and the blue dress crusades.
Yes & they just cancelled!!!!! Debauchery beginning after my hot tea ;)
There aren’t enough of them to get that communist over the line-and by 2020, those greedy little snowflakes will have experienced life-at least the ones who aren’t from wealthy families will-meaning they will have to actually work and pay the taxes they thought everyone else would pay instead-I doubt they will be so happy with socialism after that-reality therapy is how a lot of my generation were converted to conservatism in the 70s...
Very good point....and makes me feel better! thanks
