Skunks are very cute and not at all aggressive. Possums seem to be shy. We’ve only seen one once since we moved here in 2002. :)

Drinking problem + major anger issues? That’s attractive.

Charming. But I do have to say that yes a little bit of anger at those who make accusations such as yours. Go safely brother, stay close to your safe space.

Not necessarily. Opossums have very tiny brains, so not a surprise the head shot didn’t kill.

We live in an essentially urban area, but have a lot of wildlife.
They’re not gregarious. They’re pretty cool little critters. We had a half grown baby that we were going to try & raise till it could be on it’s own, but chickened out & took it to wildlife rescue.

So, this proves opossums have no brains. Nor hearts.

A bit like liberals in that.

Raw cruelty is pretty uncool. What’s the point?
I’ve known a few people I’d have liked to take a baseball bat to. But I didn’t do it. What could a possum do that could piss somebody off that bad?

It’s sister, BTW.

We have almost five wooded acres and hundreds around us. We have fox, bears, deer, fisher cats, coyotes, possum, flying squirrels and other small animals. We have all kinds of birds, including raptors. I love it.

A complete waste of resources to operate to save a wounded Possum. Complete waste of taxpayer money. They should have just put it down. Idiots. It is not as though there aren’t millions more of them out there.

We’ve only seen one once since we moved here in 2002.

I live in a highly populated suburb in S.E. Michigan and you can't drive anywhere without seeing a dead possum, coon or skunk on the highways......I don't know how many possums I've trapped and either released or killed.

It’s wooded, so there isn’t much to do. We do all of our gardening in planters now, so animals aren’t much of a problem.

My Dachshund would go down a Burrow and dig them out, she would always bring a dead one out and rarely had a bite on her.

We rarely see any dead animals here. A wild turkey died on the other side of one of the stone walls a few years ago. The stench was awful, but I think that it was eventually eaten by scavengers and/or decomposed.

They are adorable at that age. But boy they sure don’t age well.
