A Manhattan jury Wednesday found the self-proclaimed “black Hitler†pimp not guilty of the most serious charges against him convicted him of assault and other crimes for torturing a prostitute who had withheld her earnings.
After a two-week trial in Manhattan Supreme Court, the jury found Sherman Gamble, 55, not guilty of sex trafficking, strangulation and rape. He had faced as much as 25 years on the top count.
