Another beautiful spring like day here, the hamburgers will soon be on the grill! I spent most of the day planting 500 more tomatoes and 250 different peppers in the greenhouse. As soon as seed potatoes arrive at the Farmers Cooperative I will use what little space left in the greenhouse and begin chitting them (bringing them out of winter dormancy).
The new greenhouse arrived last week on an tractor trailer, the pole boxes were so heavy they had to be opened and unloaded individually, The driver was not happy. hope to have it up and operational by the 3rd week of February.
Do you have any experience with hm 8849 tomatoes? I see good reports on them, but no seeds anyplace. I guess Harris Moran just sells bulk seed...
