I do not attend any church at all. I do not drop scripture into my daily conversations. I'd never go to an organized Bible Study, and I certainly wouldn't lead one.
I study God's Word with a good heart, earnestly praying the right path for my life. I try to do the right thing in my daily life. I try to treat people fairly.
I make mistakes. When angered, I cuss like the Sailor I once was. I've been known to laugh at a dirty joke, and I've been known to take more liquor than is wise. I am guilty of judging other people and a host of other sins I won't go into.
I am a Christian. Flawed, but a Christian.
But I don't stake a claim that my particular brand or practice of my faith is superior, or that my thoughts are the definitive final say on the subject.
I do understand that. But bragging about adulterous affairs, is not going to sit right with even basic Christmas and Easter Christians. And Christians do understand flaws, for all have sinned, and all that jazz.... but the in your face blatant and even seemingly mocking one of the commandments doesn’t fall into the category of something that is easily overlooked.
I do not fit in the segment you are referring to, but I certainly don’t condone or gloss over those antics.
And another thing his attitude on the subject does is pinpoint a lack of a man who is “God fearing”
That’s gonna be a problem.
Also, if he and his supporters continue the nasty nasty nasty vile shots at cruz and Cruz supporters, I guarantee you a huge chunk of them will not get out the vote for someone who continually insulted them.
