On today's Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Ted Cruz had to answer hardball questions while Trump got softball question from Wallace. It appears that Fox News is playing nice-nice with Donald to avoid further Trump boycotts of Fox News appearances.
Effective by any other name.
You’re probably correct.
Oh, you’re all just so...so...Truzubio.
I am afraid the American public disagrees with Trump’s goal to offer Universal Healthcare.
In other words, it's a vanity post. I've got no problem with him including his remarks in the comments of an ongoing discussion.
I've got no problem with him posting the article he linked (after the fact) with an accurate headline.
I think that nearly all vanity posts are discouraged on the site. Even if this post were allowed, posting the "title" of his opinion, without the courtesy of labeling it as "vanity" is not fair game.
Just my opinion, of course.
No need to be afraid. The bookies guarantee that the Trump nomination is a done deal.
Since you seem to be the spokesperson for this Freeper.
Please tell him, when he posts a vanity thread to list it as a vanity thread.
“Look I support Cruz but you got to be able to hit the high hard one if you are getting to the bigs.”
I saw the interview — Cruz did fine. It does get annoying when squirrel-face constantly interrupts him, but Cruz’s answers on everything were solid. In fact, he opened a new attack on Trump over the fact that Trump owes at minimum $400 million + to the banks and has a lot of gall to continue harping on a secured loan Cruz took against his life savings. He also said something to the effect of “unlike Donald, I pay my bills — he’s filed bankruptcy 4 times.”
Wallace was clearly surprised and acted like he knew nothing about the lines of credit Trump has. If that’s true, he’s clearly not doing his job.
Thanks for the briefing. Appreciate it since I did not see the interview. And yeah Wallace sucks.
You might also say it is the result of bullying.
Wallace tried to use politifact and for Jobs numbers and Cruz called him on it and tried to point out that the Employment Participation Rate was the lowest on over 40 years.
Wallace wouldn’t allow him to answer the question and kept talking over him.
Cruz correctly pointed out that 93 million working age Americans were out of work, Wallace tried to stick with the official unemployment rates.
Cruz refused to accept the dishonest premise of the question. Great job by Cruz.
Fox News Chris Wallace Hardballs for Cruz, Softballs for Trump
Vanity | January 31, 2016 | Ralph Mitchell
In order to save face, Chris and other FNC commentators have been spinning their debate conflict with Trump by claiming that their ratings held up even without Trump’s participation. Trump, on the other hand, has contended that FNC lost viewers and advertising revenues based on what the ratings would have been had Trump participated. Moreover, FNC has cherry-picked the ratings for Trump’s event by examining only a couple of news outlets, rather than all of the outlets that carried Trump’s event, including YouTube, Newsmax TV, and C-Span. In order to avoid further loss of viewers and advertiser dollars, it makes sense that FNC would now make nice with Trump. After all, everyone knows that if you punch a bully in the nose, the bully is likely to treat you better in the future.
lol !!
Even if they don’t respect Trump, Trump is teaching them to get used to respecting the Office of the Presidency where he is concerned.
A vanity thread is usually mentioned in the headline.
