Heck, remember when people used to dress up to go out to eat...or for church...or a wedding...or a funeral?

I miss it.

Sure, I like being able go nearly anywhere and do nearly anything in a rumpled pair of jeans and a ratty shirt, but...there just isn’t any ceremony in damn near anything anymore.

And I miss that.

Or ballgames, back then everyone went in suits, now everyone wears the team’s jersey.

The last time I went for jury duty I was kind of surprised at how sloppily people dress for that, these days.

Last month my great Uncle passed away...

Several people, who should know better (older adults), actually wore jeans, polo shirts and sneakers ...

I was taken aback by the casualness of their attire to pay respect to a man they knew in life for many years...
