The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.'

January is already over folks...welcome to the BB...

A little hit and miss tonight, or more like strong and slower...one the the best ever with Phil Harris and Alice Faye...Tales of the Texas Rangers is usually a good story albeit a little mild...Lineup is a B show...and ending strong with Lux and an interesting story of a newlywed on a chicken farm (:...

How you doing?

Ummm, I love the Big Broadcast, and I know it is still on air. Ed Walker passed away a few months ago though, did he not?

Looking forward to a relaxing evening listening to the radio. Have 5 boys, 8 years old, over riding 4wheelers, they will be going home just in time for my family to settle down and listen.

That’s a powerful ad. I hope, if he gets in, that he does the right thing and doesn’t “cut deals with the democrats.” That’s my fear.
