A few years ago (2007), they revived Grease on Broadway. They had an "American Idol"-style competition to cast Danny and Sandy. The girl who won Sandy was Laura Osnes, and she was terrific. She's had a good Broadway career since.

Grease Live! was good, and I like the trend towards musicals on TV.

The only tv movie musicals I like are Grease and the Sound of Music.
Ok just remembered a few more but can’t recall the titles, lol.

I fear watching remakes will have horrible additional scenes and won’t measure up...
