Trump Has a Point - Dirty Tricks Done by Ted Cruz - Always Heartbreaking, Never Surprising
Sarah Palin on Facebook ^ | 2/3/16 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 02/03/2016 10:08:13 AM PST by Jim W N

Thank heavens Donald Trump opened so many eyes to the lies, corruption and total lack of accountability that come so naturally to the permanent political class. And Sen. Ted Cruz was spot on when he once noted that "millions of Americans are asking for accountability and truth." Which is why it's so curious - and saddens us - this lack of accountability with the lies of Cruz's own campaign.

Cruz's campaign chairman, U.S. Representative Steve King, is lying, and good for Dr. Ben Carson for calling this out. King, who's previously asked for and received my endorsement, time and resources to support his own election, is still lying about my altruistic support of Mr. Trump, and he's refused to provide any evidence to the contrary. And, this U.S. Congressman actually lied to his own constituents on behalf of Cruz, regarding a good man, Dr. Carson. He told voters Carson was dropping out of the Presidential race immediately before the Iowa caucus, causing a relative uproar inside the process, so the word would spread and he could rack up more votes for his candidate, Cruz. That's a dirty trick. Dr. Carson deserved better. The voters deserved better!

Where is the accountability for these political actions? Very sad; typical Washington tactics. THIS is why "the status quo has got to go."

Our friend Dr. Carson put it so well:

"As Christians, of course we accept people's apologies, we also have to ask ourselves is this acceptable to us, the American people, or should there be some accountability? There should be some consequences for things. You don't just say 'oh, okay, sorry... okay let's move on.' The damage was done to me, it wasn’t done to them."

We've had eight years of a reckless President, accountable to no one, pushing this country to the brink. Why would we ever take a risk repeating that? We are never going to turn this country around if we keep electing "more of the same." Just like conservatives have been preaching in opposition to Obama's political tactics for years: actions speak louder than words.

The Cruz Campaign's actions to destroy a good man's efforts to serve are no different than Obama's practice of not holding anyone accountable. Typical politics. Typical politicians.

Re:”Perhaps the shine on Saint Cruz’s halo is a bit tarnished”

I would say more accurately the aura of invincibility of your god is destroyed.
He got his ass beat and isn’t used to it. Oh well.
Sucks to lose, as he would say. Deal with it.
But to impugn Cruz for this is pathetic.
It makes him look weak and exposes him further to the open minded who have not been paying close attention.
All we have heard out of his face hole is WINWINWINWINWINWIN.
But at his first chance he LOSESLOSESLOSESLOSES.

I’d say Cruz, who admitted to publishing this false info, should be accountable whether negligent or intentional.

Re:”I thought it was interesting that Rush today actually called it fraud. “

He was referencing what Trump called it. He wasn’t validating what Trump claimed.
Nice try, but YOU are the fraud here.

I’m not seeing it either. It’s like they keep repeating it hoping it will be true.

Did Cruz publish it personally or did his campaign?

What a baby.

Of course it wasn’t what you heard.
You are just another garden variety Trumphole who hears what they want and plugs their ears when confronted with the truth screaming NANANANANANA.
And you call me a baby?
You do project a tad to much sweety.
Now run along.

My point is that why all the uproar for something that is routine among all the parties. But now all of the sudden it is a big deal. Very similar to when Bush let all of the Federal Prosecutors go — an act that was also routine. But the Dems and media made a huge deal about it even though Clinton and others had done the same thing. As far as my neighbors knowing whether I voted or not, doesn’t really matter to me cause I normally vote. I’m more concerned about other information the government makes available to whomever they want to if it suits their needs. It is politics but folks pick and choose what they like and what they don’t depending on whether their guy/gal did it or was the recipient of it. That is all I’m saying. Anyway, nice talking to you.

Wow. Just wow. What a snotty post. I was going to graciously accept your premise before you attacked me and called me a fraud. I just returned the favor. Thank you. Now that I am aware of your nasty character, I will now disregard anything you post in the future.

Enjoy your new status :-)
Buh bye!

Well, again you call her a “quitter” for answering the call to a wider stage and louder voice. That is a misrepresentation IMO.

Definition of quitter is one who quits, which she did. Her louder voice got her a fatter wallet, which is fine if you're not selling out your principles - but $arah Palin is doing just that by supporting the liberal Donald Trump. She has erased a lot of good will by doing so.

I guess so. It appears to be a point that can’t be put into words...

Yes, Trump has a very good point: Cruz and surrogates along with his campaign staff LIED TO Iowa caucus voters by fraudulently telling them Dr. Carson was leaving the race and (due to this outright LIE they willingly perpetuated) admonished the conservative Christians to throw their support and vote to lying Teddy boy Cruz.

After "winning" Iowa as a direct result of this fraud, lying Teddy boy Cruz apologized = an admission of guilt. AFTER THE FACT, AFTER HIS SUPPOSED "win".

Frankly, I am glad Trump is raising the issue. For far too long, "politicians" like Cruz and slick-boy RINO Rubio etc... have gotten away with lying, fraud and "dirty tricks" and "the ends justify the means, at any cost", mentality in order to gain the desired result of a "win". Well, enough is enough. If Teddy boy can't win without lying and cheating the electorate, I want nothing to do with him.

People who fault Trump for raising the issue, while at the same time dismissing Cruz & his staffs utter lack of integrity on the matter should be ashamed of themselves. If Hildabeast had been responsible for perpetrating these lies in order to gain a "win" over her Republican opponent these same people would be crying "foul" and making the very same accusations that Mr. Trump is charging Cruz with.
