Get a 649 - shrouded hammer and stainless. Get an older one and the hammer and trigger were chromed. I was very sad when I started to rust my virginal Model 36 when I lived in Florida.
I bought my first 36 when I was stationed on the Lex in Pensacola. I tried to go shooting at least once a week. I know I put over 5,000 cast 3.2gr Bullseye loads thru it. It won’t rust if you’re always using it.
