I believe the actress’s name was Pat Priest. It stuck in my head because a. my mother’s name was Pat and b. she was the only normal person in the family so Priest made sense to me as a little Catholic girl.
But, it must never go unsaid: the Addams Family was a million times better than the Munsters, which would have been entirely useless without the always wondiferous Fred Gwynne.
