It’s more than just the slanted characters. I recently posted an article that had a long hyphen in it. The hyphen came out funny.

Yep, when it shows up just delete and replace with a hyphen from the keyboard.
That’s one of the reasons to preview so that the corrections can be made.

You're right. It was a bit of sloppiness on my part not to preview. It only takes a minute. Until the character problem is permanently solved, perhaps the posting window can be modified to require a preview.
