I think the media has attempted to frame the Republican race as “petty” by enlarging any petty remark made by any Republican contender. I think Freepers play into this by responding to the media’s attempts to constantly pick fights. Meanwhile, the important issues languish.
Abortion - millions of babies murdered has to be first!
Muslim Refugees - easily stopped and a matter of national security
Obamacare - Trump turns me off by stating that he will “replace” it; instead, a Presidential candidate should be pledging to get the Federal government out of the game!
Illegal immigration - Amazing that the unions don’t focus on the Democrats position in this job killer
Homosexual marriage - cultural issue; Feds should simply not be an advocate

Immigration (both kinds), Muslim refugees, Obamacare....Abortion and homosexual “marriage” are the same issue, which is an out of control Judicial Branch legislating, but they are both long-term problems without political solutions, whereas 1, 2, and 3 can be changed in a fortnight by regime change.

If we kill our children or allow others in to destroy them, we don’t have a future. The state does not define marriage, God does. I don’t care what the state says, gays cannot ever be truly married and if the state declares my social contract invalid, then I am still married because marriage is a covenant between God and a man and a woman - nothing else.

I don’t think the arguing between the trump and cruz camps is worse than previous. it may be different, possibly more substantive at times. in the past it seemed like more liberal trolls going after everyone. eventually we all coalesce and pray for the best.

without 1 and 2, the rest does not matter. 3 and 4 are at the same level. education must be made local. with education comes the change in social issues (God, family).
