speaking of twitter, I had some interesting exchanges with cruz fans on Twitter, while I was poolside on Saturday. I rarely get into substantive discussions, but David Limbaugh asked a sincere question whether Rubio supports really felt strongly about immigration as an issue, figuring probably not and that’s why they were able to support him. I said I feel very strongly about immigration because I think demography will in fact determine our destiny, but I do not consider cruz electable, so the best most principled immigration stance is worthless if it cannot be effectuated. I had several people engaging me but no one was nasty, so it was ok.

Mountain Dew commercials are always cringe-worthy.

It’s especially difficult to have a convivial attitude when you’re in Mass., prefer to be in Va., and it’s **** snow out there!

Can you name anything substantive that Rubio has done? He didn’t do well thinking on his feet in the last debate and while I don’t think the best debater should be president, there should be a strong ability to defend positions spontaneously and not just repeat talking points. I don’t think he is ready for the job yet.

Agreed. We love a good defensive contest. It’s what traditionally wins championships. It’s also why some people badmouth hockey, not enough scoring.

It sure doesn’t seem like a decade ago!

Kelly wanted to take me to a very expensive steak place for our 10th anniversary and my birthday, but I told her I would not be pleased to know my steak was $66 bucks, a la carte. We got Boston Market chicken instead. I was tired as hell anyway from running my #1 granddaughter to dance and ice skating lessons while her mommy worked.

What a dick move. Who does that?

I “borrowed” a neighbors snow shovel as a kid, many years ago, when I broke mine, but I made sure I shoveled their driveway first, and I returned it. I had great neighbors growing up.

I never buy that Mtn Dew Kickstart stuff, cause I figure it has hallucinogenics in it.

I liked the sheep singing Queen, but who really buys a truck, and a Honda ridgeline ain’t a truck, for speakers in the bed?

Many seem to think they are electing a dictator. Bush wanted to do immigration reform, right?, and the chorus of disapproval stopped it from happening.

So, a President Rubio may not be the strongest against immigration, but he’s not going to get his way in reality.

I love regular mountain dew, but ‘m afraid of stuff with more kick and funky stuff than standard.

Country music fans, I guess. Just about every video I’ve seen has some girl dancing in the back of a truck during summer time and America.

Actually, it’s OK. Especially like the orange one. It’s got some real juice and a caffeine like an energy drink. But not a whole ton of calories/sugar.

Too many people don’t like dominating defense.

I'm a patriots fan, so I've gotten really used to seeing a team actually make 3rd down tries. I wasn't a big fan of last nights puntfest.

Cruz is not electable. period. I agree with his politics and find him not likeable. certainly anyone marginal is not going to be persuaded to vote for him, and face it, we cannot win an election with just the rightwing voting. She makes a better case for him than I can. one bad debate performance is not going to dissuade me that he's the best for the job. he is normally extremely articulate. I do not like ted cruz. yes, I will obv vote for him if he ends up with the nomination, but he is not remotely electable in my opinion. I have talked to a LOT of people, and that appears to be the consensus. people of all sorts of persuasions, who are republican. if you talk only to freepers or people similarly inclined you can believe [falsely] that it's possible. but I am here to tell you that the % of freepers in the country is not sufficient to win an election. the scary thing is TRUMP IS ELECTABLE, but has no principles and is as juvenile as a teen girl!

exactly, as pointed out by Kevin Williamson yesterday in NRO. if there is a repub majority in house and senate, Rubio cannot do amnesty even if it was what he wanted to do.

In prison, Hillary’s life without liberty should be long-lived with many convivial pursuits of hippieness.

I like how Trump has steered some of the narrative toward important issues that would have been otherwise overlooked, I like how he has absolutely owned the media, II like how he drives leftists insane, and I love that he isn’t concerned with being PC or willing toapologize. It’s about time someone with an R next tot heir name had some cajones. I just wish he had real conservative principles backed up with history.

Cruz is OK policy wise IMO, but as exciting and electable as a wet ham sandwich without any cheese or mustard.

Rubio is pro-amnesty. BZZZZZZZT, out.

Bush? Not a chance in hell I could vote for him. Sorry.

Nobody else counts.

I hate this election.
